Viggle is an awesome iphone or android app that you can use to get points for watching tv. You download the app and check in by letting your phone listen to the tv. It then checks you in for the show. You can sometimes answer live questions as well as earn extra points for special shows.
I normally can get enough points in 2 weeks of tv checking in to get a $5.00 giftcard. I just redeemed one today for Starbucks. Previously, I have gotten them for CVS, Sephora and Best Buy.
